Etecia Burrell, an Ayurveda Health Counselor, trained Western Clinical Herbalist, and Traditional African Medicine practitioner will take a detailed history and Ayurvedic assessment to determine your Mind-Body-Spirit constitution. This intake gives a thorough Ayurvedic analysis of your health concerns. Etecia uses indigenous technologies of diagnosis to detect the causes of any deep-rooted imbalances in the body. Your wellness plan may include diet, daily routine, herbs, meditation, postures (asana), and breath work (pranayama). This intake is for your personal education so that you may develop and manage a healthy lifestyle appropriate for your true nature.
This initial intake session lasts 2 hours, and incorporates intuitive methods to support your wellness journey. Etecia’s expansive knowledge of Ayurvedic Medicine, Afro-botany, bio-regional herbalism, plant allyship, actions, and remedies inform the diet, lifestyle, spiritual, and herbal recommendations that she suggests during this intake. The Initial Consultation includes a review of your health history, intake interview, and physical assessment including tongue and pulse analyses to better understand your constitution and address the present imbalances and health concerns
