Portals: An Altar Exhibition w/ Serian L. Strauss

Join us at The Sanctuary for a joy-filled evening with our current Artist-In-Residence, Serian Letti Strauss’ in celebration of the opening of their first solo show in the Bay Area.

During this last quarter, Serian has been offering their altar pieces (gourds, bowls, cups, trays) in-store, at The Sanctuary for folks to purchase and add to their collection of sacred objects. Simultaneously, Serian has been working on a series of beaded gourds using a technique they inherited from their grandmother in Tanzania.
