This service guides you to create a special shrine at home for your ancestor and perform ceremonies for nine days to help their spirit find peace. Iya Omioki will support you in completing the ceremony. This is a meaningful first step to connect more deeply with African spiritual traditions and your loved ones. In indigenous African spiritual practices, an ancestor elevation ceremony is conducted to assist an ancestor—particularly one who passed away suddenly—in achieving a serene and full passage into the ancestral realm. This sacred ritual supports their peaceful transition and honors their journey beyond.

Please arrive to the appointment freshly showered and wearing an all white clean outfit and head covering (head wrap/scarf or hat). You must also arrive with a notebook for taking notes. You will be sent instructions for additional preparation prior to your appointment.
