Join us at The Sanctuary for an evening of connection in exploration of the extraordinary nature of Black people.
This is a space for the Black community to connect to bodies of knowledge that contributes to the liberation, cultivation, remembrance, and preservation of African culture, art, medicine, and technology.
The purpose of this series is to promote the study of African culture, meaning making, and governance for the development of an African world view. Our aim is to build African centered study groups and strengthen a connection between scholars, artists, researchers, institutions, and community.
Our time together will feature a presenter and include a live reading, film, presentation, and/or lecture featuring as well as Q&A, and community discussion.
